In this case, it stands for "a bit faint positive." I took a test after I got home from work (couldn't wait until tomorrow morning), and it was a faint line, but it was there! I am nervous and excited, and it hasn't sunk in. DH's first words were "oh, fuck." But don't get the wrong idea about him - he was very excited, and he hugged me and DS, and he said it's going to be hard for him to hold it together at Thanksgiving. His mom has this "thankfulness tree," and everyone has to write something they're thankful for on an ornament and put it on the tree. I made him promise not to tell anyone until Christmas because it is still very early, but he said he'll probably lose it during that thankfulness time.
My last (and only) AF since DS was born was 10/26, so I guess I will be having a late July baby if everything goes well! There will be 20 months between DS and this baby. That's crazy to me, but I know some of you are even closer, so you can tell me how it is.
Thanks, everyone! It's still a secret. DH wrote "children" on his thankfulness ornament, but no one picked up on it. We're going to make the announcement at Christmas.
We think we might give them a 2-picture frame with DS on one side and the other side blank. Or maybe have DS leave and then come out in a "big brother" t-shirt. We can't decide! My dad was like, "Oh, that's unusual" when I said I didn't want a glass of wine at Thanksgiving, so we might end up telling before Christmas. For those of you who are STMs (or more), at how many weeks did you start showing the second time?
My second one, I was visibly bigger at less than 16 weeks, not sure exactly. I told my boss at 20 weeks and my employees figured it out around 22 weeks.
Third time (this one) I have hidden really well. Only 2 employees are suspicious (out of 70). I haven't told my boss yet, and only my sis and DD beside DH and I know. We are still trying to wait til Christmas to share. I'm currently 24 1/2 weeks. I am really careful about what I wear to work and family gatherings so that it isn't obvious.
I think it's easier to hide this time because most people that know me, know I hadn't lost all the weight from DS and still had a bit of a belly.

I'm currently pregnant with my second (due in April). I noticed a different very early; I'm thinking 8 weeks. I told my boss at 12 weeks and then my students at 14 weeks. I wasn't quite showing at 14 weeks, but I felt pretty big. At 20 weeks now, I am in full blown maternity clothes. I'd say I'm showing about a month earlier than I did with DD (at 20 weeks, I look like when I was 24 weeks with DD). Congrats again and I hope that you have a healthy pregnancy and baby.
@maebbCongrats! I am right there with you. POAS yesterday and it was +. I think baby 2 will be a late July/early Aug baby. I am totally freaking out. . . I just can't believe it. It was a total surprise.
