Hi!
I loved this board when I was dealing with PCOS the first time around, and I hope to be part of the community as DH and I work to overcome PCOS again. I do have a little guy, but won't be mentioning him in my subsequent posts here.
DH and I live in Kenya and are very happy here. We have most of the same treatment options that are available in the U.S., and an RE that we feel really comfortable with. There are some pro's with TTTC here (treatment is way cheaper) and some con's (all the meds are imported and can be randomly unavailable). Overall, we feel hopeful as we start this process again.
I've been lurking for several months, and the only person I recognize from last time around is @katib77 (congrats, by the way!!). Y'all are such a supportive group of gals.
DH and I are Americans living an adventure in Kenya since 2011
DX: PCOS (annovulatory)
Feb 2012: IUI #1 w/ only 1M sperm and a single follie = BFP!
Nov 2012: Little buddy born in Kenya
Nov 2013: Trying for a second, still w PCOS
Dec 2013: IUI cycle canceled for non-response
Jan 2014: Break cycle BFP!

2007-2011 - Tried Clomid, Ovidrel Trigger with TI -BFN
11/2013 - back to RE for new plan.
Cycle 1: Letrozole cd3-7; U/S cd12 (27mm left); ovidrel trigger; progesterone test and suppositories - BFN
HSG- 12/16/13 - clear and "Beautiful" per Dr. Attaran
Cycle 2- Letrozole cd3-7, ovidrel trigger, progesterone test and suppositories-BFN
BENCHED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
DH (29) & Me (26) - Married 9/22/2012
TTC since 9/2012
Dx - Annovulatory; PCOS-IR
8/2013 - First consult with RE
9/2013 - HSG, SHG both clear; SA normal
Oct 2013 - Jan 2014 - Clomid + Trigger + IUI #1-3 = BFN's
Feb 2014 - Femara + Trigger + IUI #4 = BFP!!!!!
Beta #1 - 3/2/14 (15dpo) - 123
Beta #2 - 3/4/14 (17dpo) - 378
1st ultrasound - 3/21/14 - 1 little ninja, heartbeat - 120bpm
Due November 7, 2014
