Health problems. Update.

So a couple months ago i posted that i have been sick for a while, and they we had been unable to find a diagnosis, and was asked to update when and if we ever did, and finally this week it happened. After 8 doctors and 4 specialists, we finally found the problem. I've been diagnosed with a heart condition. It's manageable, but will require medication for the rest of my life, vigilant monitoring, and possibly surgery down the line. It's scary and stressful, especially because my husband and i have been handling everything completely alone. But now that we have a diagnosis that requires long term care, the Army is working to let him out, and send us home to be with family for which i am extremely fortunate. Thank you all for your kind words through this whole ordeal. It has certainly been a hell of a year.

7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    First of all, (((HUGS))) for your recent diagnoses, I'm sure it is/has been stressful on your entire family. Secondly, I'm glad that you were finally able to figure out the problem and at least now you know how to manage/treat it.

    Just remember, you have the love and support of your son and husband and I'm sure lots of family and friends. And with the help of your doctors you will learn to live with your heart condition and THRIVE!

    I'm sure there will be good days and there will be bad ones. Is there a support group you can participate in of individuals who have the same condition? I think that would be great support both in knowing how to go about your daily life as well as emotionally to know others out there know EXACTLY how you are feeling. 

    And you know we (a group of strangers, but oddly enough good friends!) are here for you too. We may not understand exactly what you are going through, but we will also be able to help you laugh when you need it and be a cyber shoulder if you need a hug!

    I glad you've finally received some answers and are able to establish a game plan for your future.  I'm hoping this gets you on track to a better quality of life!
    Me: unexplained infertility - annovulatory DH: testicular cancer survivor!! TTC since June 2009 BFP May 11, 2012 EDD January 24, 2013 June 1, 2012 - first u/s, heartbeat 124 BPM!! June 22, 2012 - heard the heartbeat 9w1d 181 BPM!! 24 hours of labor, 4 1/2 hours of pushing, and IT'S A BOY! Welcome to the world my miracle, we prayed and prayed for you, and we can't believe you're here!
