Finally some hope!

AF showed today, ABOUT TIME!
Clomid tomorrow up until CD 6, BD'ing the nights away on CD 10-20. So excited and I am feeling hopeful that I will get a BFP during Christmas :)
My question is:
Who else has done Clomid on 2-6? Is there a difference from 1-5, 3-7, or 5-9?

Married, 22, PCOS
M/C-9/12/2010-Unexpected pregnancy
TTC since 11/27/10
BFN every month since that date
No period since 17.
Period on 10/15/2013!!!
IF appointment 11/13/2013...o.O
Prescribed Provera Stop taking it on 11/22/13
AF arrived on 11/27/2013 -(My freakin' anniversary.)
Start 50 mg of Clomid on CD 2-6

    I can't answer your Clomid q, but congrats on AF finally showing. I know that feeling from my last cycle. It certainly sounds like you will be having a happy holiday season with CD 10-20  :P

    Married 8/6/2011 Me (26) DH (33) SA normal,HSG clear TTC since August 2011 7/2012 50mg Clomid+Trigger+IUI+progesterone =BFN 8/2012 100mg Clomid+estrogen+Trigger+IUI+progestrone=BFN 10/2012 100mg clomid+Gonal+Lupron+Trigger+Progestrone+IUI=BFP but ectopic.

    It can go either way, but at least it should be fun getting there :) I have to admit - being on this natural cycle and not feeling the pressure has been nice.

    It is a real relief! Me and the DH go natural some months. It's really relaxing! Try some honey and lavender tea. It relaxes your uterus. :)

    I've always done Clomid CD3-5, but it doesn't really make a difference as far as I know 1-5, 3-5, etc etc which is why they are all acceptable days to take them. My last cycle I didn't start until CD6 because of timing of my first u/s. As long as you have an u/s done prior to starting it, it should be fine.

    DH (29) & Me (26) - Married 9/22/2012
    TTC since 9/2012
    Dx - Annovulatory; PCOS-IR

    8/2013 - First consult with RE
    9/2013 - HSG, SHG both clear; SA normal
    Oct 2013 - Jan 2014 - Clomid + Trigger + IUI #1-3 = BFN's
    Feb 2014 - Femara + Trigger + IUI #4 = BFP!!!!!
    Beta #1 - 3/2/14 (15dpo) - 123
    Beta #2 - 3/4/14 (17dpo) - 378
    1st ultrasound - 3/21/14 - 1 little ninja, heartbeat - 120bpm
    Due November 7, 2014

    Me 32 :: DH 41

     TTC since November, 2011

    DH's SA : Excellent

    Lap and Hysteroscopy June 2012

    DX: PCOS, Stage III Endo, slight Adenomyosis, blocked tube, and probable LPD

    Treatments:  6 Months Lupron Depot injections; 1500 mg metformin; 3 cycles of Clomid + TI = BFN

    3 endometrial biopsies all were "out of phase" 

    September - December, 2013:  Break to lose weight and get healthy

    40 lb weight loss but still not ovulating "in phase"  

    February - March 2014: bcps + follistim + trigger + TI = BFP

     Beta #1 (12dpo): 30; Beta #2 (18dpo): 500; Beta #3 (25dpo): 7,000!!! 

    1st u/s 4/16: One beautiful hb at 144 bmp 

    2nd u/s 4/29: hb at 166 bmp.  Graduated from RE!!

    Baby girl arrived on Thanksgiving day weighing 7lbs 6oz and measuring 20 inches

    Yes. I will be doing monitoring on days 6-13, then a progest test on cd 21. :) (They said if I haven't ovulated by those days, then they want me to come on cd 18 as well.)

    we were hoping for a BFP for christmas as well.. oh well. as far as 2-6, vs 5-9 i thought it was doc preference, and maybe starting it earlier increases follie size? ive always done 5-9 on my clomid cycles. @amandalynn19
