Crusty eyes!

My LO wakes up in the morning with such horrible crusty eyes! My pedi said to wipe with warm washcloth and massage his tear duct area. I've been doing this for over two weeks with no improvement. During the day his eyes seem accessibly watery, as well. His poor little lashes are all clumped up! Thoughts on this subject? Experience with this?

We had the same issue and put breast milk in her eye. Cleared it up the next day. Our doctor also told us to use the wash cloth and massage.

Our LO has this too. Our Pedi also showed me how to massage but it could take a few months to clear up she said.
Totally going to try some BM tomorrow!

DS2 woke up with a crusty eye and not gonna lie I felt a little silly squirting him in the eye!!! Let's hope it works!!!

It could take awhile. You can soak put breast milk on a cotton ball and wipe the eye inside to outside.

Massaged with a warm wet cloth, and used breast milk. Cleared up in 2 days!

DS had a blocked duct when he was a baby. It eventually cleared up on its own. Massaging the duct, bm, and a warm wash cloth did the trick in the meantime.
