second trimester?

when does the actual 2nd trimester start? I'm 12 weeks today..so it at 13 weeks? or 14? i keep reading different shit everywhere

    There are a lot of different a answers. I think it's really up to you when you consider yourself in 2nd tri. According to the bump, I will be 2nd tri on Friday at 13 weeks, 2 days.

    My doctor says technically it is 14th week of pregnancy/12wks since conception.

    Almost there...5 days to go!!

    Everyone will answer different. So weird to me, seems like it should be a clear cut thing among the medical field. I mean.... pick a time and use it.

    But anyway. My midwife says the day you turn 13 weeks.

    If you due date is june 9th, you would count the months every 9th!!! When you finish the 3rd month you start 2nd tri!! Around week 13 or 14

    My OB calls it at 13 weeks. So that's what I go with. So I hit my second tri on Sunday!
