So before I got pregnant my husband, brother and I bought tickets to see John Mayer about 3 hours away from where we live. The concert is tonight and we were gonna try to come home after. I am usually in bed by the time the concert starts because of the stomach pain. I don't know what to do. My brother and husband are hoping I go and I don't want to miss out on a fun time with them. Any suggestions?
I think you should go. I mean, listen to your body and stay home if you really know you can't handle it, but don't miss out just because you're worried about your bedtime and if you might get some pain. KWIM? Sometimes being out and distracted is just the thing you need!
What kind of venue is it? If it is a standing room only type of place I would skip it. If you have seats, go! You can always sit and rest, plus I'm sure you could sleep there and back if you wanted to.
I hear you, I'm going to Elton John tonight and this morning started dreading it because it's going to be a late night. I decided I'm still going, too expensive to waste that money but also because once I get there I'm hoping that I can have fun. Have fun whatever decision you make
Go and just sit down more often if you're not feeling that well, and if you need to get a hotel for the night. I know I wouldn't want to miss it if I were in your shoes.
I had Justin Timberlake tickets (I love him, don't judge) for next month, but I gave mine to a friend. I would like to still go and see the concert, but I know the group of girls I'm going with is going to drink - hard - before and after the concert, and I just don't want to deal with being the only sober one in the group. If it were more low-key (which, OP, it sounds like your night would be), I'd definitely try to still go!
@hjl050308 I am SO JEALOUS! I would love to see Elton John!
We just went to a Korn concert. At first I was exhausted but once it got going the adrenalin kicked in and I made it through just fine. I crashed the second we got home though.
I think you should go, I had the same dilemma about a concert I had planned with my mom last Friday. I was exhausted and it started at 9, I went and honestly, I picked right up after the concert started AND what a great night sleep I had.

I'd go. We just went to a concert on Monday night and the band we were seeing didn't come on until 10:15... a good 45 mins after I am usually in bed! LOL It was standing room only too but honestly once it got going, the atmosphere kind of woke me up and I had a great time. I was exhausted when I got home but it was worth it!
Re: Annoying decision
