Trying to Get Pregnant

No idea what to make of this one

I'm just looking for any input really... I know I don't have a lot of previous charting info (had to start a new account this time around so all my cycles from ttc#1 are gone). I do know that my cycles are around 35-45/50 days long, I O quite late, and although our chances are slim (been a very busy/tiring month at work for both of us) if anybody can offer any chart interpretation insight I would really appreciate it. I don't want to test and be disappointed but AF should have shown up today so... Do you think this was an anovulatory cycle? Have I not even O'd yet? Am I getting my period tomorrow or the next day?

Have you taken a test? You have a temp shift from your first couple temps, but it's hard to tell if that 's post O shift or just your normal temperature since you didn't start temping until CD 19.  I'd take a test every week.  If you get to 60 days without a positive HPT or AF, call your doctor. Good luck.

Pretty much this. I really don't know what to make of your chart, it's incomplete and your temping isn't being done consistently every day or at the same time, so there are lots of open circles to contend with too. I honestly don't see ovulation in there anywhere yet.

  • CD 20 or CD30 look like the most likely if you have ovulated.  Like PPs have said, have you tested?

Also, you should really get a thermometer that measures to the hundredth place.  Because it kind of looks like maybe you could have ovulated on CD 30, but the temp shift is sort of small, so maybe not.

    Either way, take a test.

  • You need to get a bbt thermometer or your chart won't be fully accurate. Also, make sure to start temping daily and at the same time or it can be hard to interpret your chart.

Based on what I see, I would say anovulatory or you O'd around CD20 but that's only a guess. Take a test, it's the only way to know for sure.

Also just because FF says today is the day that AF shows up, that's not necessarily accurate. Sometimes I will start a day or two before or after it has me predicted to start AF simply because ovulation comes earlier or later than forecasted.

  • Thanks ladies for the input.

I should have said in my first post that I do use a BBT thermometer and I do temp at the same time each morning. I didn't start temping until CD19 because my cycles are just soooo long, so I didn't think there was any harm done with starting a bit into the cycle. From now on I'll start from the beginning though.

@gscoville - you said I had open circles on my chart? I don't see those, where do you see them?

I might wait till the weekend just to see if AF shows up a bit later than usual, and if not I'll test. I just hate seeing that "not pregnant" on a test :-/
  • *sigh*. I dunno why I'm feeling like such a chicken about this cycle and testing! lol.

Alright, if AF doesn't come tonight and i have time to swing by the pharmacy to pick up a test, then I'll test.

Thanks for the encouragement ladies. If this isn't the cycle, I'm going to do it "properly" next one and temp from the beginning etc.
