Big babies

Anyone else have a big baby? I had our 9 month appointment today (Mama blew off the first appointment completely because they never did the reminder call so this was rescheduled).

Everett is now 23.05 LBS which is in the 85th percentile. 29.5 inches long in the 92nd percentile, and his head is also in the 92nd percentile. The doctor is estimating that he will be over 6 feet tall which is nice since I am only 5'2'' and DH is 5'8''.

We also have our first year molar that came in already which gives him a total of 9 teeth.

At our 9.5 month appointment last Friday DS was 16 lbs 13 oz and 27.25 inches long. He was in the 0-3% for weight and the 25th for height. He's a teeny boy!

mine was 20 lbs and 28.5 in, he was pretty much where he is supposed to be. He only has 2 teeth lol

I wouldn't put too much into your dr.'s height prediction. I was always among the shorter kids growing up until middle school--by mid high school I was 5'9. My friend was always a head taller than me, but she maxed out at 5'5. DH was FTT and not on the charts for a few years. He is now 6'2". DD1 is on the tiny side, but starting to catch up. DD2 is tall but 50% for weight. Who knows where they will ultimately end up!

My kid was 21 lbs, 12 ounces (80th percentile), 29 inches, and his head is in the 86th percentile.

At his 9mo apt on the 12th (early) E was 19lbs and 29 inches, down from 22lbs three weeks earlier. When I expressed concern that he had lost weight, our pedi said that was normal as he is cruse racing now.

My little lady is 29" which puts her in the 89th percentile, and 22lb 2oz which is 92nd percentile. She also has her 8th tooth coming in currently.

E had his 9mo appt on the 12th also and he weighed 18lbs 10oz and he was 28" tall. :-) and he still has a large head. Lol

So, how big are LOs heads at 9 months? Our pedi always talks about height and weight but never mentions head size. DD is small so does not make the chart on the other 2 but I think she has a large head. lol. She is 14 lbs 1 oz, 25 inches tall and 17 inches head circumference. I would love some numbers for comparison.

L is 24.5lbs (98th percentile), 29.25" long (90th percentile) and has a 95th percentile head. His weight jumped from 90th-98th this time due to him eating a lot more solids, but otherwise he's been consistently huge his whole life.

My big guy is 23lbs 7 oz (80%) and 29 in (75%). His head was 45.5 cm (50%). He has 7 teeth already!

DD at 9 1/2 months is 19 lbs 5 ounces and 27 inches. She currently only has two teeth!

At his 9 month appointment he was over 21 pounds, about 25th percentile for height.

We have a lot of tall babies in this group! And holy moly the teeth! My DD has 4 teeth, and I thought that was a lot. We have her next check up on Monday, so I'm excited to see how much she's grown.
