Christmas/Holiday gift budgets - talk to me

We are trying to set a budget for the first time and I realize that we are out of touch with what we normally spend to exchange gifts with everyone we exchange with. Also, who all do you exchange with? Immediate family, immediate and extended or what? I think that part of our problem is that we are exchanging with way too many folks.

    We all buy gifts for the nieces and nephews and the adults draw for an adult gift exchange.

    We aren't really big into gifts except for DD.  We exchange small gifts with the grandparents and our siblings' children. Gifts are given only to the kids - except for my SIL and BIL who don't have children, then we buy them a small joint gift most of the time.  DH and I don't really exchange gifts. We might just get each other something small for fun.

    Other gifts are given (not exchanged) to: daycare teachers, babysitter, housekeeper, etc.

    Similar story here. We do have 8 sets of grandparents/great grandparents between us so I do a shutterfly calendar or some photo gift for them. Try to do it when they offer 50% off so it's not so pricey!

    DH and I don't really exchange gifts, but if we do, they are small like less than $50.

    Most if out budget goes towards DD, but we have two more kids to but for this year.

    Other than that we just get gifts for the nieces and nephews (13 total) and the grandparents (3 sets). And then something from each kid to their godparents. We have a lot of people to shop for but have have a lot of Kids in our family.
