I work in the footwear industry-- and every season we get a new line sheet-- and a new set of slightly off-kilter names.  Here's the newest batch.  What do you think?  Like any?

  • I can sort of get down with Kailani-- if it's pronounced like I think it is. 

    To be honest, I am not sure how they come up with the names-- so I can't say if they are "real" or made up or what.

  • Basically, these are the ones that passed legal. They mean nothing. I'm in outdoor/footwear/athletic also and for every 12 sent to be cleared by legal, maybe 1 or 2 is usable.

    I know a male Kalani which is pronounced Ka-LA-NEE. It's a Hawaiian name. So that name isn't too different for me. He also went by Kal a lot.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
