anyone else feel like this?

i've gone up two ring sizes. my sneakers, which i don't normally untie/retie every morning, have had to be loosened... twice. my flats are getting uncomfortably tight, making my only shoe choice said sneakers, which i need DH to help me put on. i have to work a half day today and "see how it goes" because my ankles and feet got so swollen from yesterday's attempt at a 9 hour shift that one ankle had real pain when stepping on it, even though i didn't twist it or anything- it just got too swollen to do anything.
i went to the drugstore and checked my bp(normal) and talked to my doctor... apparently this is all just normal pregnancy swelling. i talked to my mom and apparently my whole family is known to swell up- thank god i'm not due in the summer, i'd just be a freaking puff pastry!
anyone have ideas of things i could do? anyone want to commiserate and complain about things (other than your belly and boobs) getting ridiculously large?
Re: let's talk about swelling
my mom is a smartypants.
I can only wear (1) sneakers--with the laces not even in the first couple of holes, so there's enough room to tie-- and (2) my work DanceCo's.
I guess the benefit of living in warmer weather, or being pregnant during warmer months would be the flip flops!! My DH did tell me it was time to buy winter boots! Let's hope I can find some that fit over my swollen calves!!
Mom to Lily and Colin!
I totally just bought a cheap immitation wedding ring a size up from my wedding ring, some days I've had to lotion my finger after putting it under ice water to get my ring off.
Ankles are definitely cankles most nights, ick. We're going to Hawaii December 7-12, I'm pretty sure I'll be a blimp down there. Also, white cheesy thighs are DEFINITELY not pretty. Poor DH is going to have to put up with a hot, swollen, waddling wife for a week. If it weren't lovely Hawaii, I would cancel just for the chance to stay in my giant warm clothes up here in Montana. SO thankful I'm having a winter baby, even though her due date falls right in the middle of my busiest time of year at work!
Also, completely unrelated, my son was the stay puft man for Halloween.
I saw this leg lotion stuff in the Body Shop that sounds refreshing. Supposed to stimulate circulation. I might give that a try.
