Emotional already?

In the 8th week and things are already making me cry.  Like that freaking Kohl's Christmas commercial where the young couple decorates their elderly neighbor's apartment?!  WHY?  I HAVE NO IDEA.
Oh and yea, random songs on the radio.
I'm already a sympathetic cry-er, so this is nooootttt good.

....there's also the more witchy side too (but I was already easily a witch when I wanted to be) that I think appears out of the blue when Hubby is annoying me, says stupid stuff, or I'm just stressed and get snappy.

Am I alone in this or no....?

  • Friday night my daughter was having a hard time going to sleep. Anytime she fell asleep rocking her when I laid her down she would wake up crying. This went on for about 2 hours, when my husband took her and rocked her in the front room. When he left the room I cried for like 10 min straight to the point where I started coughing so hard I almost blacked out. I felt like an awful mom because I was so frustrated with her.

  • @ec0983:  I share the same thought about Christmas before Thanksgiving, although I work retail and the Christmas songs have already been playing at work.  Avicii's song Wake Me Up caught me completely off guard the other day; I was driving to work, bawling my eyes out and singing along.  I'm sure other motorist were looking at me like I was crazy.    /:)

  • That commercial gets me every single time! My DH was laughing at me the other day b/c I was watching that video of "Batkid" in San Francisco and was sobbing. I was never this emotional when I was pregnant with my boys.

  • @Tweeks23:  my hubby enjoys picking movies that's going to make cry I think, just to watch my reaction.  I started to tear up watching something last week (and of course I don't remember now what it was), but I turned to my hubs and said, "I'm sorry but this is probably going to make me cry and I don't know why, no laughing!" and sure enough crying started.  But at soon as the scene or whatever was done, I was done crying.  It's like and on/off switch!  UGH!

  • I have been SOO moody!! People often tell me that I am "too nice!" Which I think is just silly, but lately I feel like such a B word!! I get angry at things that would never bother me before and am very snappy! This has been happening since week 6! I think between the drowsiness and nausea, there is only so much I can take! I'm hoping my body will adjust to all these new hormones fast, otherwise, I will be know as the evil one as opposed to the nice one! ;-/
  • I've been crying ever since the second pink line popped up. Over everything.
  • I'm only 4 weeks and have been emotional (crying, bitchy, etc.) for the past couple of weeks.  At first I thought it was just PMS....until I took a pee test, lol!
  • I'm with @princess724 I'm 4 weeks and have been teary eyed, crabby, ecstatic, and just all around up and down emotions.  Your hormones are just going nuts right now, sorta like PMS except on a MEGA elevated level.

  • I am 7weeks 1 day and I am crying over everything!!
  • oh...I dont know if you would call mood swings emotional but yeah I'm only 6 weeks and I am A TOTAL B!%@#. I rather be crying than a monster. I dnt know how my husband deal with it.
  • Thats exactly how I am, I cry at EVERYTHING and snap at Hubby over the smallest most insignificant things. Yesterday we were packing up our apartment (we're moving on Thurs to a 2 bedroom) and I started crying. It's so stupid nothing significant happened here except it was our first apt and this is where we found out I am pregnant. I REALLY hope it gets better bc I feel terrible for Hubby.

Not quite six weeks pregnant here, and so far I've cried at the following:

    • After I yelled at my husband for opening a Coke in front of me, then realizing I shouldn't be mad
    • When I thought about how tiny the baby is (the size of an orange seed!)
    • When I was stopped in my car to let a marathon go by and I saw a father with his young son on his shoulders walk up to watch the runners
    • When Adele's version of "Make You Feel My Love" came on Pandora
    • While watching the movie "Prisoners"
So unless I'm the crazy one, I think it's perfectly normal that you're crying randomly.

I'm just lurking here.  But, I just wanted to add that this commercial makes me cry and I'm not even pregnant.  So... yeah...

  • @JoJoGee:  Awwww, yea, I probably would have done the "silent" cry (a few tears just running down my cheeks), but I mean, I started bawling and thinking about a backstory for the old lady.  :|  That's not usually normal (for me).  xD;
