Hand, foot, and mouth disease

Has anybody dealt with this? How long did it last? I'm pretty sure DD has it - temp of 101-102 all day yesterday, sores on her hands, mouth, and bottom today, very clingy and uncomfortable. I'll be calling the doctor's office when they open. Just wondering what others' experiences have been, and what I can do to make LO comfortable.

    I remember someone on here who's LO had it, now I cannot recall who it was. Hopefully our pedi can offer some ways to make her more comfortable.
