Update: Professional Photographers

Those of you who have had photographs of your little one taken by a professional photographer how long did you wait before receiving proofs? And if you ordered photos how long did those take?

We had one year pictures taken on October 5th. We got proofs three weeks later and I place an order on October 28th and have yet to see a single photo. Is this normal?

Update:
I sent her an email asking when the photos would be ready. She responded that she just sent them to her lab, but it is closed for the whole week. So, I will probably get them late next week.

    @ladydixneuf that's what I thought. She's the sweetest person in the world, but I am about ready to be bluntly honest and let her know that I won't be using her again because of how long she takes to edit and produce photos.

    That is a really long time, with our photographer she has previews on her facebook page about 2 or 3 days after the shoot and then the disk with all the digital copies is usually in my hand about 7 to 10 days after the photo shoot.  Even when she photographed my wedding I had previews about 5 days later and the disk with all the digital photos about 2 weeks after my wedding.  I would call her and find out what the hold up is.

    I am a photographer. Typically I say 3-5 days for a proof CD (edited and watermarked), then a week for prints once ordered.
