  I noticed that a couple of years ago when I went shopping with my friend. We went to childrens place and there were 4 small circle racks for boys and the rest of the store was geared for girls. I couldn't believe it.

  I agree and it's a shock for me after spending the last 7 years shopping for girls. I go into a store all excited and 5 minutes later I'm frustrated because there is one boy outfit for every rack of girls outfits. Plural. Not cool.

  Agreed. It took me forever to find a cute outfit for LO for Christmas. There were tons of cute dresses and a very limited selection for boys. It's not fair!

  My baby gap is like this. I filled out the survey on the receipt to complain about it. They would get so much more of my money if they catered to boys more.

  My target has boy clothes but they are never stocked! There is a set of onesies I've had my eye on for the last month or so but never have the size I need but they have every size imaginable for girls. It's so frustrating!

  Boys totally get shafted!!! I realized this 8 years ago when I started shopping for my stepson and it still hasn't changed. Just resolve yourself to the fact that the only fun that will be had dressing him is with cute shoes and hats. The rest of it is limited crap. Makes me want to start a line of clothing just for boys.

  I used to bitch about this all the time when DS was little and then I just gave up. Its a pita and if you need something in particular your best bet is to hit the internet.

  There is a reason why. Look at your husbands wardrobe. Khakis, jeans, button downs , t-shirt, maybe a sweater and a blazer. Unless he wears suits. Is it fair? Nope but we as woman have much more variety even as adults. Shoes it is even more loop sided.

  @KellenHi21 Soo true. The girls clothes never stop being cute either. So, I got to do the cute baby clothes shopping, and now my oldest is in the bigger girls stuff. She's big into tunics and leggings and cute boots. She looks super cute all of the time and I'm jealous if we're being honest. I live vicariously through her wardrobe.

  AGREE!!!  I had to look for a "dressy" outfit for B about a month ago- freaking nothing!  If he had been a girl, there would have been about 50 good options!
