Nursing bras

I have yet to buy a nursing bra that has decent support. Mine are all the super flimsy kind and they don't do much for the girls.

I'm looking for a wireless bra with molded cups and a lower neckline.

Any suggestions? I'd prefer to spend under $50 if possible.

Thanks ladies!

I also had to go wired to get ANY support (34G here). The best (and really only) selection I found was at Nordstrom. Motherhood Maternity doesn't go up to my size. I ended up finding the bra I wanted on Amazon for much cheaper after I tried it on in Nordstrom. So there is always that option too.

Maybe it was more of an issue earlier on but I had always read to avoid wires due to clogging. I suppose now that my supply has regulated maybe it won't be an issue.

I'm assuming neither of you have had any problems with wires?

I don't have a clue as to what size I am now...

I didn't wear underwires until I went back to work at 12 weeks. I do think it's more of an issue early on. I haven't had any problems with clogged ducts (knock on wood) so far. I also think I just get a better shape with an underwire.

The best non-underwire support I found was Bravado bras. Personally, I prefer underwires, but in the size I needed, Bravado had the best selection.

I've used underwires from the time she was about 2wks old and haven't had any issues with clogged ducts. I do make sure to massage the edges of my breasts after taking my bra off thoughk. The non underwire bras just didn't do anything for these beasts. Mine are from Nordstrom and amazon.

I got mine from thyme maternity. I ended up going down a band size a few weeks ago when I got a couple new ones and I also have one with an underwire and have had no issues but that's they only way these DD's feel supported.

I've used underwire from the beginning because it was the only way I could get support (36F). Just make sure you are wearing the correct size and you shouldn't have any issues with clogged ducts. Check out the Medela Seamless Underwire Bra. I love it!

I wore an underwire to exercise when I was cleared at 6 weeks, and had a clogged duct within an hour. :/
I've been scared ever since, but have been thinking I need to try again. I'm going to email my measurements to Lactation Connection and see what they recommend for wired, low neckline, with side support. (I hate side squish.)
