Potty Training question

So, preparing for potty training, a short time ago I went ahead an ordered a seat attachment for the toilet. DD decided this weekend to become VERY interested in using the potty. Which is great, however.. Not sure I love the seat attachment. It is the Safety First brand. It doesn't really attach as opposed to more just sitting on top. It is stable, but DD has a hard time getting on it and the pee guard is kind of in the way.

My questions are: what potty training things are you using? Had success with? Is it worth gettting the little potty or stick with what I have? Is there a brand you like better?

  • I'm no where near ready with Lucas but I have trained two others. I agree you need a stool and to help her on and off. I think the little potties are AWFUL then you have to clean pee and poop out of those plus train lo all over on a big potty plus deal with fears at stores families and friends houses and well everywhere but home.

Most do not attach just sit on top otherwise they are a big pain for grown ups and you'll be thankful for the guard when she learns to hold it and has force behind her pee.

Plus I agree I'm doing the three day this time and skipping the year of messing around I did with the other two.
