First Christmas "stuff"

What do you plan on buying for LO that says "My first Christmas"? Are you planning on doing a lot? A little? Nothing at all?

We are getting him the Zany Zoo cube.

In addition to that, I have ordered some stuff we need anyway... some new bibs, a couple sippy cups, stuff like that... so we'll wrap that up for him, too.

ETA: We will get him an ornament, too. Someone posted on here about giving her baby an ornament every year and I like that tradition. and we will also buy a baby's first Christmas ornament for me.

To me it doesn't seem like a lot, but I got him:

- Maxim Garden Activity Cube. (want)

- A few outfits. (wear)

- Two books. (read)

- For the "Need" I might give him a haircut (A full one.. I cut the sides of his hair the other day) or something that encourages standing since that is all he wants to do.

A box wrapped up, a couple of books, a interactive piano drum set, and swim lessons (which is more for me). My husband wants to get him a little Mustang and even took me to Target yesterday to look at it. He was so excited I didn't want to hurt his feelings and tell him it's not age appropriate

Haha, my husband was looking at the jeep too. I told him he could get it, but it will be sitting collecting dust for two years or so.

As far as 1st Christmas stuff, he has a stocking, an ornament, Pjs, and a bib. I buy him a my 1st shirt, bib and pjs for every holiday.

We will get an ornament (and one every year after) and an outfit to wear Christmas morning. Likely a sleeper so she can wear it over and over after Christmas Day.

We got a "first Christmas" ornament for her. Some bibs, onesies, just a whole bunch of stuff. Went to an outdoor store yesterday and got her a hot pink browning set of clothes. Ugh I can't wait. DH told me last year when I was pregnant and found out she was a girl, he was going to get her diamonds for her first Christmas. I kinda thought he was just being cute about it. Well, he ordered her earrings on Friday so I guess he wasn't kidding. Lol

I saw some little christmas 2013 bears and even a little blue baby's first christmas bear at walmart. I thought if someone wanted an idea for him that might be cute. I could put in in his keepsake chest next year. We are doing a handprint ornament and probably buying a special one too. The clothes are too small. Everyone knows you don't buy kids clothes in their age without asking first. You would think they could go up a couple of more sizes passed 12 mo.
