I feel weird asking others for gift ideas for someone they don't know but I am seriously at a loss for one of my nephews.  Typically for SIL's kids we give them each 2 gifts when we celebrate with the immediate family and one small gift when we celebrate with the extended family, to make things even with H's young cousins.  He is 8 and into sports, especially football, and that is pretty much all I have to go off of.  Any suggestions?

    What team does he like? Most of the teams have kid apparel or accessories too.

    He likes all of the Detroit teams and then for college sports he like U of M.  I probably will get him an article of clothing for one of the gifts but I want to get him something fun too.

    I am trying to figure out what to buy my 8 year old nephew too. He loves sports and not much else right now. I got him a hat, but not sure what else.

    I don't want to get him a nerf gun because I don't know if my SIL would want him to have it. I don't really want people buying my kid guns. Maybe that's just me.
