Does anyone have one of these? I've been eyeing it on amazon and it got good reviews. Did anyone use the carseat adapter with it? I'm new at this so I have no idea where to start..
I have it and love it. I didn't use the adapter because we got it when DS was already out of the carseat and used a stroller frame while DD was in the carseat, using the City Mini when she was older. If I didn't already have the frame from before I had the Mini, I would've gotten the adapter.
Really if you can lay it down flat, they can go in from the start, but using the infant seat gives them more support and an incline. Plus it's just plain helpful if they're alseep and you don't have to wake them to transfer them into the stroller. When mine were old enough to sit up for longer periods is when I put them in an upright position in the stroller without an infant seat, but I'm not sure what others would suggest. There were also times we would forgo the stroller and use an infant carrier, so it really depends on the situation! I know all of this stuff can seem so overwhelming, but you'll figure out what's best for you!
I have it and love it. I also used the infant seat adapter a lot. I walked 4-5 mi nearly every day with DD so it got a lot of use. It was so easy to fold and maneuvers so well around the mall and other tight spaces.
Side note- any NE Ohio moms....I'm selling mine for $150 plus $25 for the Chicco car seat adapter. I'm upgrading to a double BOB and I get more use out of my single jogger. No issues with the stroller!
i have the baby jogger summit series since i like to walk and the tires makes it for a smoother ride. I had dd in it right after she was born and never used the car seat adapter but would just lay her flat and put blankets around her. With this baby i plan to get the car seat adapter and forgo the stroller that comes with the car seat. My dd is 5 and i still take her for walks in the baby jogger she loves it and i love i can still get in a 5 mile walk in once in a while!!!!
2 friends of mine have this stroller, and both love it! I eyed it for DS but went with the bob. It works better for us and our gravely street, but is heavier and more cumbersome than the citi mini. Citi Mini is a great stroller!

I am getting the city mini gt. Definitely the most exciting thing I am gettig for the baby! Haha. I am so over the hills in love with the stroller! i cant wait!!
We have the city mini elite and it is by far my favourite thing we have. Is great in all weather conditions, even Canadian winters.
We got the bassinet since we didn't do a bucket seat (went straight to the convertible) and it works great. Plus I loved that he wasn't so confined all the time.
The big, foam filled rubber wheels are the best, and it folds up with one hand.
We have one and absolutely love it! We used the car seat adapter and it was great! If you are in Texas I will def sell mine to you, but only because I am upgrading to the city select double stroller since we will have 2 that are only 16 months apart. It is easy to maneuver and also really light, I was able to get it in and out of my truck bed on my own from very early on which was a big requirement for me
City mini is amazing BUT if you plan to have another soon go for the select, best double stroller out there IMO Well it converts to a double. It's a single then you get the second seat kit
We love our City Mini! We used the carseat adapter at the very beginning, but my daughter was no a big fan of the carseat, so as soon as we thought of it we just put her in it laying flat, which she loved. She loves to stretch out, so she preferred it to being worn, and to the carseat. She will still nap in there if we're out at a festival or something, which is great. And it's lightweight, and easy to take with you on trips.
I second @KristaU831. We got the City Select when we had our daughter (just turned 1) knowing we would have more kids. We bought the second seat with gift cards from the shower and completion coupon and I am so excited to use it with two!
Hi everyone, thanks for the advice, you made my decision easy. Baby jogger city mini it is!! I'm keeping my eyes out for any Christmas deals. Can't wait to get my new ride!
