Going back to work at 10 weeks. We have a friend of ours watching LO 2 days a week. DP will be at home with DD on her 2 days off and I will be home on mine (we don't have the same days off). My mom and other family will be watching LO on the weekends I work.
I went back part time 6wks PP both times. I went back to more hours by the time the babies were 3 months old and all of them are with DH or his family when I work.

Going back to work in the middle of January. Dd will be 3.5 months old. H will watch her 1-2 days a week, my mom will watch her 1 day a week and the other days she will be at an in home daycare. I hope to find something small, and they definitly need to be flexible. I might find a part time job and she would only need care 1 day a week - that would be ideal.
I go back Dec 6th for half a day then back full time the following week LO will start half day Dec 6th! I'm so nervous about this but our daycare is family friends of my husbands family so I feel like he will be safe! Good luck to all mommys going back to work!
I went back to work full time when LO was just over 8 weeks. I didn't have the luxury to have more time off... LO goes to the daycare at our church. Mrs. Mervett in his room is the "baby wisperer"!!! She rocks!

Do they charge you at your church daycare? That's great that they offer that service!
OH. yeah. They charge.... It's as much or more than most of the day care places in town. BUT, they have cared for several of kids of close friends. Having someone like Mrs. Mervett makes it easier to leave LO. So far, she has gotten him to take a pacifier.....I tried forever.... she has him sleeping in a crib.....I'm working to master this at home. And so much more in just two weeks.
LO will be 15 weeks when I go back, I have a week and a half left on leave. A family friend will be watching LO three days a week. DH works three days a week so he will be off with her Mon-Tues.
I only got 6 glorious weeks. My mom is able to watch LO and my older child on the 2 days a week that she isn't in pre-school. I really take comfort that if nothing else he is loved all day.
I went back to work full time when DD was 6weeks old. I wish I could have had more time off. "/ I am lucky enough to have my DH stay at home with her though.
I went back this week at around 9 weeks. We have a family friend watch both DS and DD. she's watched DS since he was 5 months old and he loves her so much!
ETA: she used to be a preschool teacher and we do pay her.
I'm going back when they are 5 months, I took a few months unpaid leave. Me and DH work evening/ overnights so we will have family helping watch them at home. I love being with my babies but I also miss work,, seems like an 8 hour break from crying!

LO will be 15 weeks...I took the full 12 weeks allowed plus then Im off for Christmas break (teacher)....I found a sitter on care.com. Had no other choice as all family members work and we only need about 4 hours a day and no daycares have openings for part time.
DH and I don't have any family local to where we are so we opted to go with a learning center for LO to attend. I will be returning to work when LO is 10w old. Technically I go back to work on Thursday of that week and she will start that Monday. The center opens at 0600 and I have to be at work at 0630 so I will be using M-W to practice our routine so my first day of work wont be too much of a rush.

I go back to work in a week when LO will be 10 weeks. He will be at a daycare center a little less than 10 minutes from where I work. I plan to drop him off at 7:00-7:15am and pick him up at 4:30pm Monday- Friday.
I go back jan 3rd when LO is 3 months. He will go to daycare @ SO's job for 4 days a week & with his nana 1 day a week ..I'm so not ready to leave him.
I went back last week - baby was 7 weeks old. My husband is staying home with her 3 days a week and my mom is taking her the other 2. I really like my job and I love working, but boy do I miss her!
