Rec your flat iron

This is a P&R, but I'll check back in the morning.  I went Saturday and did the haircut challenge, and it was cute when I left the salon.  Of course, I didn't take a picture when I left, or before I took a shower tonight.  Unfortunately, upon washing it, I realize I need a flat iron to actually make the bangs lay right.  This is a new world for me (I'm a blow dry and go kinda girl), so help for a newb would be greatly appreciated! 

What do you use?  Do you like it?  What should I look for?  I'll pretty much be using it only for bangs and don't want to spend a whole lot of money.  TIA!

    Thanks for the input, laides!  I'm headed out first thing to get one, but will keep my hat on my head in the meantime :)

    I have a chi and it works amazingly. If I were only using it for bangs though, I would probably get something cheaper. I have curly thick hair so it was well worth the $$ for me, but for you maybe not.
