Car seat/stroller

So I just started looking and getting overwhelmed. I obviously want a top safety one which would be Britax or the Chico. Also been looking at Gracos. My question is do the car seats have a corresponding stroller. If they're the same brand do they all work together? One more, I'm not in love with the ever so popular Britax stroller, it doesn't have a tray for the child's cups and Cheerios when he gets older and no cup holders/compartments for the adult on top. I just think those things would be so useful! Anyone pick out their car seat/stroller yet? Have any that you've used and loved?

    I'm overwhelmed also. From my research, you can purchase the child tray and parent tray separately, maybe $13 and $22 give or take. If the britax doesn't fit the bob on it's own there are adapters you can purchase. I was going with a graco carseat as that's what I'm used to, but don't want their stroller exactly. Considering the britax carseat and either the stroller to go in the car, or research if it will fit a baby trend snap n go frame that I can find on CL until baby can be in a lightweight stroller with no carseat.

    We have the B-Agile for our first, and we bought the snack tray and have yet to use it (LO is almost 18 months old).  But, it is available to buy if you want one.  Also, for the cup holder for their stroller, so not buy the stand alone cup holder.  Buy their Parent console, which is much nicer.  Has storage in the middle and two cup holders.

    We have the Chicco travel system and really like it for our one year old. He loves to snack so we use the snack tray often.

    We are still looking fora double stroller but dont like the Chicco double. If ypu plan on having your kids close in age (if you want more than one) it might be worth it to look at the double of the brand you decide. The adaptors are pretty expensive imo.

    Graco snug ride w. the double snap n go bottom and then got a BOB dualie for when they are bigger. Had the single versions for DS1 and 2 and was very happy with them. LOVE the snap n go so we dont have to wake sleeping babies and LOVE BOB for its smooth ride.

    I have the britax and we bought the snack tray and my son uses it a ton. You can get adapters for britax car seat in other strollers, but I liked that in the britax stroller it clicked in. Crazy FTM but it made me more comfortable. I got the cup holder for me but I never use it. I can easily push it with one hand and it's never been an issue

    We have the Chicco travel system for DD.  The car seat has been great and the stroller has been fine.  We're keeping the same infant car seat for LO2 and will be buying the City Mini Double once LO2 is ready for a stroller (baby wearing until then/not buying adapters for double stroller).

    With DS we did the Chicco Keyfit 30 carseat, but passed on the travel system. We used the Baby Trend Snap n Go frame, and also got the Chicco Liteway stroller. I am pretty sure the Liteway can be used on it's own earlier than the travel system strollers. Loved both!!! Still chugging away in the Liteway! Now they have a version of the Liteway (I think it's called Liteway Plus?) that will hold the carseat like the travel systems. If that had been available I probably would've gotten that and then the snap n' go wouldn't have been necessary at all. I guess what I'm saying is take a look at the Liteway Plus if you are leaning towards the Chicco carseat! I also second the PP in that we haven't missed the snack tray at all.

    I got the Britax B-Agile and B-Safe travel system and I love how it operates. I've never been a stroller person and very much enjoy how easy it is to open and close and how light weight it is. It's all personal preference, you've gotta try them out. Good luck!

    If you're near a BRU, they usually have a display where you can go and test drive the strollers to see if you have a preference. I have a chicco travel system with no complaints.

    It's so much personal preference. I personally hated the chicco travel system and some people love them! I say go to bru or bbb and try a whole bunch (and then go home and look for the best deal online :))
