My bil ran the JFK 50 miler yesterday. he did great and I think that's fantastic, but even though I am a long distance runner this is something I would never want to do.

What is something or somethings that you never want to do?

Running. Of any kind. I like being physically active, but hate running. I won't do it unless I'm bring chased. Like, with a weapon.
Camping. Not my thing.

I've run 2 half marathons but I have no desire to do more than that. 13.1 is miserable enough. DH keeps trying to talk me into a full one but I'm not buying into it.

Travel outside of the country makes me a little sad. There is a whole amazing world to see. Why no interest @cerratocc?

I just have no desire to do it. Don't have a passport. I'd just rather travel around the US. Maybe if like I was on a game show and won a free trip or something I'd go, but it's not something I'd plan for myself. (also I have an irrational fear of the healthcare systems in other countries)

@cerratocc, that makes me sad! But my brother also doesn't want to ever leave this country and I don't get that either.

Things I wouldn't do:
- marathon (I do all sorts of sporting events for fun, but marathon doesn't appeal. MAYBE half marathon)
- tattoo (I do love other people's tattoos though)
- own a gun!
- can't think of anything else... I'm sure there are others

There's not much I wouldn't do, but I HATE running...and I'm a workout fanatic, I just don't really do cardio. I would never run more than a 5K.

Go on a cruise

Learn how football is played

Go back to Eastern Europe

Play golf

Shoot a gun, forget owning one. I don't even want to see a gun.

Camping (I've been, not for me!)

Having run a marathon I can tell you that a half is the way to go. Glad I did it but I'll only do halfs from here on out.

I also don't understand not traveling outside the country. I know people who said this, then did travel, and now are hooked.

yeah but you can get good deals and to me I see all this $ spent on Disney and honestly (I am not saying you but in general) you can do it about the same for that cost.

$500 is about the tops i spend for vacation these days. i can't get out of the country for that. maybe a 3 day cruise to mexico, and well, i've done that already.

if i come into a free trip i'd take it. but i would rather spend the money i'd have to go on other things. like a fab weekend at Tahoe or fixing up my house.
