Update: Poor baby

Kennedy had some nasty breathing through the last part of the night. I took her into urgent care about noon. They had me give her a breathing treatment. We still ended up in the ER and ultimately, admitted into the hospital. We are here for at least the night. Poor baby doesn't want to eat or drink. She is on an IV and oxygen. They also come in at least every 4 hours with breathing treatments. Hoping for the best here. She is a champ, though!

    Oh no!!! Poor baby and poor mommy! Was just there with Vincent for the last two weeks. I feel for you! I hope everyone gets some rest and starts feeling better soon!

    We have a diagnosis of pneumonia. She started some antibiotics a couple hours ago. After she took her first real nap of the day, she ate some jello, hamburger and graham crackers. I was willing to feed her anything that she would eat. She drank some water, as well. It is a start! She is still trooping along. She is sleeping now; hopefully, she will stay down for most of the night. @uconnhuskie007 She has the little nose thing in. She has been awesome about leaving it all alone. Thanks for all the positive thoughts and prayers!

    Poor baby K. Happy for a speedy diagnosis. It sounds like she is already feeling a smidge better, which is nice to hear. Poor gal. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Hopefully everyone has a restful night tonight.

    Doctor told us more than likely Tuesday for a release. K is showing improvement, but white cell count is still high. She did lower the amount of IV fluid. K got to go to the play room. She enjoyed the kitchen set, even though she was too short. Here's to forward progress.
