  Put her in the room when you shower let the steam get her. Vick vapor rub. Baby vit c. Her immune system clearly can't fight it. Also if she is not better in another few days take her back and have them run a CBC with diff.

  It's the worst! We are dealing with a runny nose times three in our house right now. It is not fun. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do for younger babies. You can run a humidifier in the room and use a blanket to prop up one side of the crib mattress so LO is sleeping on an incline with her head raised. I know some ladies have used the vapor rub somehow, but I never have. Maybe someone else will chime in with that info. It is so much easier when they are older b/c you can at least give Benadryl at night to dry up the runny nose and help them sleep. That's what we were able to do for DS last night and he woke up a new man this morning. GL hon!

  So sorry LO is feeling bad! Does she have a temp?
  
  When S had a cold feedings were bad because the formula was thick and made her get kinda choked up so the pedi suggested saline drops in her nose (I used little noses brand) before feedings. A humidifier or vaporizer is good too. Hope she feels better soon!

  MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12

  ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

  We had better luck clearing her nose when we used saline before, it seemed to loosen things up. We also had luck with a little Vic's on the soles of her feet and then some socks.

  I second the nose frida!!! Such a wonderful invention, I was grossed out by them at first, but once I used it I was sold! It works so great for clearing out the snot! The humidifier is also a great idea and helps a lot. I've never done the vicks on the feet thing for baby, but I have heard from a friend that it worked well for her.

  I'm going to "third" the nose Frieda. It is gross, but I can get the blue squeeze ball to work.

  Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
  Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!!
