NBR: Playstation 4

So DH wants a Playstation 4 for Christmas this year. I hate spending that kind of cash on a gift but he bought me an iPad last year so I guess I can bite the bullet. Anyways, am I right in assuming that this will probably be one of the hot items this year? Do we think there will be Black Friday specials? I loathe shopping on that awful day but I would love to save some cash. Anyone else planning to get one for Christmas this year?

    I wouldn't even attempt to find it on black Friday. Everyone else in line will most likely be going for it too if its on sale. I got DH xbox360 a few years ago when that first came out. A few weeks before Christmas Target had a deal where you got a $50 gift card...and who doesn't love a target gift card!

    I agree don't even try on Black Friday, it's not worth it and you probably won't get one anyway. There are always good deals I think up until Christmas. Walmart is probably your best bet. Good luck!

    They're out of stock until 2014 unless stores have horded them.

    FYI never buy first run of new consoles. There will always be an issue.

    @karmb Good to know. Maybe I'll write him an IOU for Christmas and wait a bit. It's not like he needs it immediately. After February he won't have much free time anyways. Haha
