Time to share. I've got DS napping in his crib for all at home naps and feel like I've got a good handle on his schedule. What are your victories of the week?
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
Was able to get completely unpacked from vacation and sold a ton of the girls and reeds clothing on Facebook. Yay for more space and extra Christmas money
Dd feel asleep last night after her MOTN by herself. No nursing, no rocking, no patting. She talked to the ceiling fan for a few mins and then fell asleep. Hopefully wasn't a fluke.
Was able to successfully wear LO several times this week and go out with him without hauling the travel system up and down the steps. Also I have been trying to cut back on dairy in my cooking and I have done 4 dinners this week dairy free so I consider that a victory against the deliciousness of cheese.
Survived my first week back at work. I was able to pump enough for him to eat and froze 24 oz on Friday. I actually could have frozen more, but I left some for weekend and Monday bottles.
I joined a mom walking group this week. I also signed up for a stroller boot camp starting in January. I'm getting sick of looking at myself in the mirror.
Finally nursed in public without having to go to the car. Not needing the nipple shield made everything so much easier. Normally we have a melt down, but not today.
LO has been such a trooper this weekend. Yesterday we tailgated with her at a college football game and although she got fussy towards the end she was great. Today we went out to lunch and for a long Costco trip with her and she was awesome! She sat through the entire lunch quietly and happily watching everyone, and rode in the car and around Costco the same way. I was so impressed with her.... definitely a victory!
LO slept a nap in her crib. First time. We took her to visit my cousin at rehab after his surgery, and I did not freak with everyone gawking at LO. She made a lot of peoples day. We managed to start putting up Christmas lights...not an easy feat with a 3mo old
@KQuinonez I agree on the nipple shield. Since LO has stopped needing it bf is so much easier.
I tried for so long to stop using it but then I was just like If it is the only way he eats till he is a year old so be it. However, now that he is with my mom and bottle feeds he has gotten use to a faster flow. As soon as he realized no shield equals quicker milk, he was all for it. Those things are a pain in the butt to keep track of too.
We had such a busy week with visitors, coffee/walking dates and appointments and LO did great. But the biggest thing was a successful night Thursday at the opening of my husband's new restaurant. It was an hour drive to get there in traffic, then 2 hanging out and another 45 minutes drive home. Sweet baby did so well and the opening weekend was a huge success!
I made one of the blankets I am giving out to people for Christmas. And after getting a massive amount of spit up on me I just wiped it up with a baby wipe and went in to church anyway. It was my this is life and we are going to just keep going moment.

Re: Sunday Victories
I got 4 workouts in last week and baby is on a really good routine. I go back to work next week and I'm feeling pretty good about it.
OaD August siggy challenge- fav show that's off the air:
She has also started entertaining herself for longer periods of time so I am able to lay her down and get stuff done.
It's been a really good week!
*I also made homemade chicken noodle soup (I even made the egg noodles) for my hubby bc he was sick. It was delish
Had our precious baby girl, Little Miss E, on August 14, 2013 ♥ 143 → I.love.you. ♥

This is a big deal because DH has anxiety about taking LO in public, but everyone did great and we had an awesome time.
Started Weight Watchers and signed up LO for the daycare at the gym. Two months until I go back to work, so it's time to get serious!
Now, if we could get some more sleep...
