I just woke up and got sick in the bed. (I had a bucket ready, thankfully) DF jumped up instantly to help me and rub my back. He then cleaned up the mess and didn't even make fun of me for peeing the bed a little. He's a sweet heart, and I honestly don't know how I could do this without him :x
Ugh I'm sorry you got sick. I'm beyond thankful for my DH for many reasons but lately because he completely takes care of our pup. It's about a high each day of 30 some degrees and at night it gets down to 18 or so and he always takes him out. He doesn't even hesitate or think to ask me. Then to wipe his paws when you get back in is such a hassle for me now so I'm so lucky he does it all!
As for me, I'm happy that I got an impromptu date with DH yesterday. He was supposed to go out with a buddy of his who changed his mind last minute. I asked him to take me to see Catching Fire expecting him to say absolutely not, because he HATES going to the theater, and the few times we did to it was his movie choice (I.e. Transformers or superhero movies or something else action packed). Imagine my surprise when he actually said yes!!!

So jealous. I'm laying around in bed right now not wanting to bundle up for my dog walk. My DH will do it but he sleeps much later than I do so I feel guilty. Plus, I know keyser loves his morning walk with me.
@ansleyturner I am so sorry you got sick! DH sounds like a real keeper
@ekruegerrn T&P for a safe and smooth delivery! Keep us posted!
I am so thankful that I still feel relatively good I was able to get a ton of errands done yesterday with DH and he was a great sport about it the whole time!
This weekend I'm thankful for my parents who brought me delicious dinner last night. And came over to keep me company. H works a rotating schedule and is on second shift (4pm-midnight) so he is on weekends lately.
Thankful that my husband and daughter are leaving to go get donuts for breakfast and I get to stay warm in bed :x Also that I have 3 more shifts and get to kick off maternity leave on thanksgiving day!

DS has been singing songs all morning from his upcoming program at school. It is so freakin' cute. I can't wait to see it. Luckily it is on Dec. 5th so I should be able to go.
@ekruegerrn good luck lady!!!
@ansleyturner sorry you got sick :-(

And my baby shower is today :-) yippee!!!
Thankful my aunt invited us over for an early thanksgiving and thankful since thanks to mom I had like no notice, I actually had stuff in my pantry to cook. I don't like going empty handed.
I'm thankful that I am finally over my flu/infection whatever I had! 9 days of that had me wishing someone would punch me in the face and knock me out until it passed.
I've never been so happy to just be pregnant and miserable. (As opposed to pregnant, super sick and miserable). Hooray!!
I'm thankful for my husband. Today's his birthday, and I'm just so thankful that he exists (not sure if that sounds weird...not doing well with words this weekend).
I'm also thankful for my hairdresser. She fit me in yesterday and made me feel pretty again.
I'm thankful for my cousin that gave us several gently used baby items (such as stroller and car seat), which means we can return ours and now have money to spend on the smaller things we still need.
I'm also thankful for the awesome group of parents who gave me a shower on behalf of my students. They bought a high chair as a group gift!

I'm thankful for my DH also. He has been really good to me throughout this whole pregnancy but has stepped it up a notch lately. I have been in the hospital twice this last week getting rehydrated since I can't keep any liquids/foods down and he has been right beside me taking care if me. And believe me it has NOT been pretty. I couldn't ask for a better husband!
I'm incredibly thankful for a wise and supportive counselor and also for a very proactive and loving DH. Things may not be perfect but one day at a time they are getting better.
I'm so thankful that we finally got all our Christmas decorations up yesterday & decorated our tree! I've been anxiously awaiting doing it, esp because I wanted to be sure it got done before LO gets here, so my heart is very happy! Also this week was HUGE for me - I passed my final state licensure exam to become a licensed therapist on Monday, at exactly 38 weeks. I'm SO relieved that all the studying is now over, & I'm finally "done" with everything I need to do for my career, & can relax & just enjoy baby when she comes!! Timing couldn't be better. Also I'm on maternity leave now, so yay! So many good things!!!
Thanks, you guys. I'm ok. But He is even missing his football game and we are ordering Chinese and staying in bed per his suggestion. Too amazing.. Just had to brag a little, sorry
So glad we all have things to be thankful for despite the fact we may be COMPLETELY MISERABLE.. ha
My husband for sure! He has been so helpful getting everything ready for the baby & for Thanksgiving. I am really glad I married him. I want to take him out for one last date before LO #2 comes. Maybe some sex too!
