Is anyone having a hard time feeling baby? I can sometimes feel him move and little taps when I lay down and my fluff isn't in the way. Anyone else like this?
I think it's a myth that "fluffy" moms have a harder time feeling it. From the outside I get it, but from the inside? It's not like out uteruses (uterui?) are fat. I think it's more of a FTM thing, personally.

i've never understood why it's been put out there that plus size mamas can't feel the baby move til later either. as @BiggerInRealLife states, from the outside? yes i understand that completely. the extra layers around my middle will make it harder for others to feel, but inside, i think it's the same. i've been feeling movement for about 2 weeks. i notice that i feel him moving when i'm laying down instead of when im up and moving around, unless he decides to do a ninja roll.
I have felt movement for about two weeks now, but full fledge kicks for about a week. This LO is my third and I am plus size (all in my stomach). It is easier to feel while laying down.
I felt movement around 16-17 weeks with DD. This time I have been feeling movement for awhile. However movement on the outside took much longer to feel.
I have an anterior placenta too but I started feeling movement this week. I was expecting it to be a while because of that so it really surprised me when I felt her rolling around.
I'm overweight and I have anterior placenta. I started sporadically feeling him (inside) a few weeks ago, and then right at 20 weeks, both DH and I started feeling him on the outside - consistently. He can't hide now.

I'm a big girl carrying most of my weight in my stomach and I have felt movement on the inside since about 16 weeks, although very sporadic. I'm almost 19 weeks now and still sometimes go days without feeling anything. Was very excited to feel movement considering so many people told me because I was plus size I wouldn't feel baby until much later.
I am not even sure what constitutes plus size anymore but I think it just boils down to everyone is different. I'm a FTM (size 16 jeans pre-prego) and I felt the first little blips and a good squiggle around the end of 15 weeks. It was sporadic until the last few days (i'm almost 19 weeks at this point). Now I can feel my LO rolling around for a little while at least once a day. He seems to be most active between 7:30 an 9pm....like right now he's rolling all over! I have another friend who is super skinny and she didn't feel anything until after 20 weeks.
I'm a STM and started to feel movement back at 12 weeks. Around 16 weeks, I felt the baby roll and didn't feel anything for a while. I was really worried but just thought the change in position was why I couldn't feel the baby anymore/as often. We went for the a/s scan and sure enough, he was facing my back.
I felt my first flutters around 13w & my first actual kick around 18w. Now there is no denying this little guy is a ninja baby, especially after I eat or have a full bladder! I'm just waiting for my DH to feel it, yesterday he had his hand on my belly while I laid in bed & baby was kicking his palm so much but he couldn't feel it yet.

i feel my little bugger everyday now from the inside (not all day every day but a little every day ) and hubs felt it from the outside. he had his head pressed against my belly and got kicked in the face. I'm a 20/22 normally so I def have extra fluff. so you will feel the little one it just not be right away
