What meds can I take?

I've got a sinus cold with a sore throat, slight coughing (from the drainage) and one of my ears is clogged up and I can't hear out if it.

I've started taking Musinex (regular) since I knew I could take this.

What can I take and what has worked for y'all when you were prego and had something like this?

    I'm pretty sure you can't take DM only plain Robitussin. I would definitely check with your OB before taking anything.

    Don't you have a nurse line that you can call? I cannot imagine any OB without a weekend triage or nurse line to ask basic questions to. I rather call even if I have a list of medications because as people said, what's good in general may not fit your situation and only your dr can advise on that.

    On my list of safe meds was Tylenol, benadryl, sudafed and robitussin. I've had the same symptoms as you for going on 5 days now, it stinks, but I've just been taking the bendaryl and tylenol to help a little. Just letting it run it's course and I hope we feel better soon.

    My list of meds included sudafed, Benadryl, robutussin, Tylenol, and mucinex. You can have cough drops too. Be prepared for any cold to hang on longer than usual. Drink lots of fluids. Feel better!

    The thing that always works best for me is drinking massive amounts of decaf hot tea, Tylenol, and cough drops.

    You lady's are lucky!! I was told I could only take reg Tylenol.... :/

    This is exactly what set off my pneumonia 2 weeks ago so do not let it go too long without seeing your doc. She called in an antibiotic for the sinus infection which didn't stop the pneumonia but probably kept me out of the hospital!

    Agreed - every doc or doula says different. I use nettle leaf and elderberry syrup - they don't cure symptoms but keep your immune defenses up. Like pp say, viruses pass - rest and fluids! Hope you feel better soon
