Hi ladies. I think the majority of you know me and know my background, but to sum it up:
I first started coming around TTCAL in June 2012 after my second loss. I was an active member for a few months until I got my next BFP, which was that September. I then was away from TTCAL for a good while because I had two consecutive BFPs and losses. I was sort of an on again off again member until I think around February of this year when I had my first round of repeated loss testing done. I became more active again and at one point mistakenly introed here too early. But since then I've been an active member for more than six months total over all my time TTCAL, although not consecutive. But I think at this point I've been active consistently enough despite some breaks, and I think most of you know me by now.
Over the two years (next month) we've been trying for a second child I've had six early losses. On Monday I will go for my second round of ovarian reserve testing. I am hoping that it leads to enough positive results that IVF with pregenetic screening might be possible. In which case I'd be dropping my current insurance policy through work and signing up through state sponsored insurance instead. If that doesn't work out, we will probably just keep trying without intervention for as long as I can stand it physically and emotionally. Or we might start thinking more seriously about adoption.
I am so sad that so many of you are in this boat. But am lucky to (hopefully) join an incredible group of strong and inspiring women here. Thanks for having this additional group - it's a really good thing to have a group that is devoted to those of us going through such a long journey. I hope it's okay this time if I join you all on this side.
