I've always wondered how you pronounce Joaquin.

A chef at my last job was named Joaquin, and I had refused to attempt the name before I heard it.

Yep, @sharona1700 is right.

Wa-keen. Slightly more english version of the spanish "Joaquin" because their J sounds more like Hwah, instead of Wa. If that makes any sense.

Yes, so it's the same as my old chef. I love love loovveeeeee that name. If I had ever heard it before here, it would most likely have been Js name.
