So the lady at motherhood maternity told me not to dry my jeans in the dryer or it will ruin/shrink the pants. Does anyone else have jeans from this store or has had a problem drying maternity jeans in the dryer?
I always air-dry my jeans, since I'm Amazon size and worry about the lengths shrinking. I have 4 pairs of MM jeans and I LOVE them. So comfortable. Air drying hasn't been an issue with them, if they're wrinkly I could just iron them real quick.
(psst, I never actually iron them, because I'm lazy, but thought I'd through that in there haha )
I have 2 pair of MM jeans, both indigo brand. The light wash boot cut with nude full belly panel super stretch, and I purposely dry them each wash to shrink back up :-) . The dark wash, navy full belly panel, slim boot cut... Shrink :-( , I line dry them now :-) ... Best of luck!!

Oh dear- I just bought a pair of the dark wash slim fit jeans today- they fit absolutly perfectly in the store. I was going to wash them before getting serious wear in since they have a bleed warning and I have cream leather seats in the car. How much do they shrink? A full size or just a bit? Air dry doesn't really work for me but maybe I can tumble dry them on cool instead of hot?

I've been wearing my MM jeans at least once a week and always dry them on low setting. No problems here; they are very comfortable. They are my favorite pair of maternity pants. I hate my ON jeans.
Mine shrunk about a size. If I wear them a couple days without washing, they'll stretch a bit :-) . I wash on cold, line dry and then place in the dryer for 10 min on fluff with 2 dryer sheets :-)

i've been air drying my jeans for years since they decided to make the "stretchy" versions with spandex and elastane. in general the heat is too hot it melts the fabric and will make those jeans stretch way out and never back to the way they were.
I always thought was a general rule of thumb to not put jeans in the dryer in general. I'm super tall, so I hardly put any of my clothes in the dryer anyway. Either way, if they have any spandex in them at all, which I assume the band does, I definitely wouldn't dry them - less for shrinkage more because you don't want the spandex to get weak.
