We had family pics taken, for the first time ever. I always just take the kid pics etc as I have a nice camera. I left before the shoot and came home to dd1 having lost her headband for the photos. I know it isn't a big deal but I guess it is to me because I am fucking furious. It is adorable and matched their outfits perfectly. We still can't find it. She wore it all day yesterday and didn't lose it.

If you are good at letting small stuff like this go, please tell me how. I have posted about this kind of thing before. I am so pissed.

Try not to let it get to you mama. These things happen unfortunately. As much as we want things to go our way, they don't always work out. I would be frustrated too

could you perhaps get her another one and take some more pics of just her? I'm sorry you're upset xo

Thanks, I can look for another one maybe but I feel like the photos were ruined as we tore apart the house looking for it then raced to get there.

It's also not just this but I feel super stressed and sad. Oh well.

The best pic my mom has of us as kids was a fiasco. One sister had mustard down her shirt, one was PMSing, and one had a fever. I was being a little shit all day too, apparently. But it really is a fabulous picture!

Hopefully these pics will turn out as well as ours did.

Agree- have some wine and try to let it go! Headbands get lost, if that's the worst that happened today, it's still a good day!

I hope they turned out well, MrsG. You caught my attention when you mentioned you've been really stressed and sad. Little stuff like losing a headband can really get on top of you when you're not in a good frame of mind. I know the feeling!

I would be ripshit pissed too but YES big picture you're overreacting and in the end it won't matter at all. BUt I get it.

I sweat the small stuff all the time, so I totally understand your frustration. And when you don't feel great to begin with, it's definitely hard to shrug off. Something like this would have really ticked me off too. But other pps are right. In the grand scheme, it doesn't matter but I really can relate to how hard it is to see that in the moment.

Oh our car got smashed Into as we pulled into a parking spot right before we had our fall pics. I shared them before here. I was pissed, but you couldn't tell in the photos. This is sad, but 10 years from now you won't give a damn.
