Squash and constipation

So we started squash today and A woke up a little while ago screaming for about 45 minutes. She was so constipated it broke my heart. After warm formula and a little thermometer action she was finally relieved. We have done peas, carrots, pears and just started squash today. Squash has been the only thing that effected her. 

Has squash caused constipation on any other LO's?

    @smpeachey It could be different for everyone , but after the episode we had last night and the dry poop she had this morning I am going to wait a while before giving it to her again. Fingers crossed that your little guy has no problem with it!!

    What kind of squash did you try? We bought an acorn squash to bake but after reading this I think we'll wait. We're trying green beans tomorrow for breakfast.

    My LO loves butternut squash. We haven't had any constipation issues with it though.

    I did yellow squash. I have butternut but im scared to try it now. ugh!

    We did acorn squash yesterday and she had a massive poop about 2 hours later. The squash was her first food after doing just oatmeal for a week.

    Em has always been a once-a-week pooper so I was scared to give him squash after reading this. However, we gave him some (butternut) for the first time last night and he had two major poops today. I'd call that a success! ;-)
