1. When my MIL visited in August she froze some chicken spaghetti casseroles for me. Today it is 33 degrees so perfect comfort food weather!

2. I was thinking earlier today about how Lincoln has very few stories for his baby book related to mischief. Then, as I was showering, he took my comb, dipped it in the toilet and then tried to comb the dog's hair with it. I have to be careful where I let my mind wander, clearly! LOL!

1. My husband works late tonight so I bought myself junk food to eat tonight since it's the only thing that sounds good. 2. My cat got scared last night and ran up the bed and put his claws into my eyelid. My eye is very swollen today. On a completely unrelated note, does anyone want two cats!

1) my boyfriend works overnight tonight so I too bought myself junkfood and am aiming to get thru the rest of season 3 of greys (rewatching it)
2) trying to figure what to have for supper and can't make a damn decision. Either a cheeseburger and fries or butter chicken
3) going to decide how to announce on Facebook for next week

1. DH went to help his brother with a fence and C went to my MIL's for the day, they're staying for dinner. I've been alone for 11 hours. Total bliss, but I'm starting to miss them.
2. I managed to grocery shop and stay in my budget, but I have done neither of the two other things I promised DH I would get done today, oops!
3. We're coming into a little bit of money in January and we will be paying off all of our credit cards!!!! I cannot wait to have those monthly payments lifted. Such a relief.

And my random: I ate a crap ton of junk food the last three days and I was dreading getting on the scale this morning to see the damage. No damage. There was no change. Really? Why can't this happen when I'm not pregnant? But, I'm completely over sugar now.

I have 3 different friends who keep calling/texting and saying they miss me and we need to make plans soon. I say "I know!" But they are my good time friends and I really I have no desire to hang out with them and watch them drink at all.

I am getting SO nervous to share our news with DH's family next week. I know everyone will be happy for us, but the thought of being "out" is starting to scare me.

I waited until my stepson went to bed last night before I broke out my secret box of gingersnaps so I wouldn't have to share them. He still doesn't know they are in the house.

1. I'm still sick so my amazing hubby is making homemade veggie soup for me. Other than that our crazy Satuday night plans include hot chocolate, reading and going to bed early.

1. Today was my last day of class and I don't plan on studying for my final for a couple of weeks.

2. I stopped on the way home from school and celebrated with a McDonald's cheeseburger.

3. I'm happy it is to cold for my dog to take her for a walk, or at least that is my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

My sister and husband put up the Christmas lights today, and even though I swore I wouldn't become one of "those" people who put them up before Thanksgiving, they make me happy. Plus, it was a good non-nauseous kind of day to do it.

DH's parents took us out to lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant today. It was delicious.

I'm going to watch the Doctor Who special after Mina goes to bed. DH is recording with his friends until who knows when and I am NOT going to wait.

I wish we had junk food in the house, stupid healthy eating....

My BIL has been here all freaking day. And now he is spending the night because he is too drunk to drive. BUT he just left to go get more beer. He's such a twat and I'm so pissed DH let him stay all day. At least we have a love seat in the (scary, unfinished!) basement for him to sleep on.

DH also gave him the password to my laptop which has everything automatically signed in for me. I have NO idea if he was creeping on all my stuff. Most likely was.

1. I'm charging my kindle so that I can enjoy the snowy weather cuddled up in my bed reading for the first time since this summer. (I've been way too busy with teaching to even think about reading.)
2. I'm hoping that the snow continues through Monday like it's supposed to so that school will be cancelled and I can spend the day with my hubby.
3. I'm hurrying to finish my dinner so that I can have some hot chocolate and chocolate chip pumpkin cookies that my MIL baked this afternoon for dessert.

I had to work today and every phone call annoyed me. Every stupid question annoyed me and the 15 applicants that called and told me their sob story annoyed me. This is totally not me! I had 2 hours of sleep before my 12 hour shift. I was so tired all day and now I'm showered and in bed have to go back for another 12 at 6am and I can't sleep cause I've thrown up twice in the last hour! Ugh!

DH has been at the station for 3 days and will finally be home tomorrow! Don't know who is more excited me or the kids!

I had a dream that we announced the pregnancy to my in-laws on Christmas - And that my MIL followed it up with wanting to know why we had waited so long to tell them... I responded with the "1st trimester safety zone" speech, which she told me was ridiculous in a snotty tone. My husband freaked out, told her she was being selfish, and then knocked over the Christmas tree.
(End dream)

Can you tell I'm slightly anxious to spill the beans to my ILs? We had a MC in September, and my DH chose not to share it with his parents. (My parents knew the day of) I love my ILs, but just feel like something unfavorable is going to be said about waiting 13 Wks to share. Ugh!

1. My hips hurt so bad. I decided to take a bath to relieve the pain, hopefully I can sleep.

2. My mom is in town and I feel obligated to go over to my grandma's to spend time with her. Tomorrow is my only day off until Thanksgiving and I have so much to do around my house before I finally get out stuff from California.

3. I need to get tv and Internet hooked up before Hs friend comes up from Cali to visit.

This nausea still at 13 weeks is starting to piss me off. This is my last, and worst, pregnancy and I swore going into it I was going to "enjoy every moment"... but I can't. I'm really ready to start enjoying it. DH was working today and I couldn't get off the couch for most of it. I apologized to my kids for not being fun today and my son just patted my arm and said "It's fine, you just rest." I wanted to cry from how sweet he was, and how accustomed he'd become to this speech the last few weeks.

Oh, and I've been wanting breakfast bread from Publix for weeks. We have it every time we're in FL visiting family. The problem is I'm in NJ. I think if they shipped me some if would be stale by the time it got here.

1. Went to our friends' house for dinner last night. They had us over at 5. We didn't eat until 8. I was so hungry it was making me nauseous.
2. They got a new house with oil heat and keep the house at "65" to save money but it felt like 40 degrees in there.
3. They live an hour and 20 minutes away. I told my husband I would drive home so he could drink but we didn't leave until 10. We almost slept over because I was so tired but I got a second wind and we made it. So glad I got to sleep in my own warm bed!

For the past week DH has been taking naps with me. My baby kitty puked (as in sick) last night and BFF has gained 10 pounds in the past weeks. Who's pregnant???? :-X

I've been out of work for 4.5 weeks due to sch. The whole time, I couldn't wait to get out of the house and go back to work. The sch is healing nicely, finally, and I am scheduled to go back to work next week. Suddenly, I cannot bear the thought of working 12 hr shifts, being on my feet with no breaks and dealing with the ER nonsense!

@mjdavies that sounds like hell. I hate when people invite me to dinner and then the meal is several hours later. I get low blood sugar even when not pregnant. My dad told me to bring Lincoln for dinner at 6 the other night and we ended uppulling up to his house at the same time-he had been at the gym. Um, pregnant chicks can't eat dinner at 8 pm. And as for the heat, what a load of crap! When you have guests over, you turn the heat or a/c up-that is common hostess courtesy. A lot of people here in TX won't cool their houses appropriately in the summer yet still invite people over. No thanks, i'd rather stay home than sweat it out with 25 of your other closest friends.

I feel like a total douche for being jealous of you ladies with MS and other "real" pregnancy symptoms. I know you all are suffering, and some sick part of me wants in. We are announcing to my H's whole family on Thanksgiving and I am terrified that I will go to my appt. on the following Monday and not hear the HB or something. I know, totally paranoid, but with only sore boobs to prove that something is actually happening in there, I'm starting to freak out.

I have MS and am still scared of this. We're also announcing to H's entire family (both sides) on Thanksgiving and I'm incredibly nervous. I can't really put my finger on why but I think your explanation was pretty close. I'm nervous about being "out" with it. I just don't want to tell anyone.

I let my stress over this get out of control enought hat I called my Doc today to see if they can get me an earlier appointment for today or tomorrow. I really didn't want to be "that patient" or "that FTM"... ugh I kinda hate myself a little now.
