Am I over feeding my 1 month old??

My baby boy is 5 weeks 3days old. He is eating 4 oz every 3 hours. Towards the night he sometimes eats up to 6 oz before going to sleep. Should he be eating less? I don't want to over feed him. I am a first time mom so I don't know what to expect with his feedings.

My little guy is 5 weeks and he eats 4 oz. I know that's on the higher end of normal, but he doesn't spit up excessively so I just let him eat what he wants.

I agree with PP's... Feed him until he's satisfied.

My LO eats 4oz... Sometimes every 2 hours! And she is 6 weeks.

My LO had the exact same pattern until a few days ago. He is now 12 weeks. No worries.

My pedi recommended doing 4oz then giving more in small portions, like an oz or half oz at a time. This was what she told me to have my daycare do just to add context.
