I'm a FTM at 20 weeks and 5 days today, I was 18 weeks was when I started feeling movement. The following week he was kicking so hard my DF could feel him by placing his hand over my belly.. It was awesome! The past two nights I feel like movement had subsided quite a bit. A few flutters during the day, maybe floating to the top of my belly and disappearing at night.. but no big thumps. /:
I've also had crazy dreams of going into labor early and woke up with a cramp above my left pubic bone that crippled me for a moment. It's probably nothing, but I'm just trying my best to stay calm.
Shouldn't I be feeling more consistent movements? Am I worrying for nothing? Should I call my doctor or the advice nurse?

With my 2nd pregnancy, I thought I hadn't felt E all day at about 34 wks, and this is what they did in L&D at the hospital - Ice cold juice, nibble of crackers, just lay in the baby and focus on feeling the baby, and click the button with every movement. She moved more than 20 times in that 30 minutes.
Big brother and sister are excited to meet the new baby! It's a GIRL!

I had a doctor's appointment the other day and asked her about the variance in movement and she said its totally normal :-) the appointment coincidentally coincided with one of his less active times and she checked on him, and he was moving around, being my typical little doodle bug, I just couldn't feel him at the time. And this is a kiddo who will kick so much on a regular day that I'll be sore on occasion! Try not to worry too much, I'm sure your sweet baby is just in a slightly more candid position!
