Even though we get plenty of snow up here and have a foot on the ground, I'm kind of wishing I was down there to see the action - I love storms (well, not the part where power goes out and the city shuts down).
I just talked to my mom and she said she sent my dad out for propane and batteries just in case.
3:10PM - Kirkland - dark and gray but nothing else. Snow from the other day is still on the ground and on the streets. We needed chains to get up our hill to our house, but the main roads are okay if you are brave.
4:00 in Mill Creek, just started snowing tiny flakes... our roads were pretty good but side roads are still pretty icy. I love watching it snow but I'm getting sick of this!
Phew! We just made it home from errands. Lots of tiny flakes in Seattle. I-5 is still okay in both directions but traffic is crawling because visibility is so bad.
We were going to meet a friend for dinner but we agreed to exchange packages and hugs and skeedaddle for home.
I just know we're going to be without power with our poor little babies. The wind gusts in Sultan are seriously insane, as is the sustained wind. It sounds like shingles are blowing off the roof.
I can't tell if we got snow today -- if we did it was so mixed up in the blizzard of blowing existing snow that I can't tell the difference.
I do love storms, I really do -- I just pray we won't lose power! I think I'm going to cook up some extra food for tomorrow just in case.
Sonqualmie, 7:45. ?Wind is blowing hard, and it's been snowing since about 3:00. ?Snow is blowing into the house around the seams in the front door. ?The windows aren't rattling yet and we still have power. ?I hope it doesn't get any worse!
8:05PM - Kirkland. Kinda scary out! It's been snowing sideways for several hours and we keep getting huge gusts of wind. It blows up the snow so it looks like a dust storm! I'm curious to see how our DirectTV does in this mess, as I've heard wind and snow can affect it. I reallllly hope we don't lose power because I wouldn't want to have to drive anywhere in this weather to get to warmth!
8:05 - Federal Way. Still snowing. Has been since about 2:30 p.m. All of the tire tracks and footprints from yesterday are gone. Everything is all white again. Not really windy here... thank goodness. Don't want to have to drive anywhere with Ray San to get him to warmth!!

9:47 very windy here in bellevue at times white out conditions! We have about 3-4 new inches of snow and the wind seems like it is just getting started! We had to go help my parents in kirkland tonight and just the 10 min drive from bellevue was pretty hairy because of the wind! Praying the wind does not knock out the power!
Way up here in Marysville just light snow. Has been that way since 5:30 maybe an inche or 2 on top of the 6-8" we already had. NO wind. Still waiting on this HUGE storm.....**Tapping fingers on table**
10:30 Sammamish - It is snowing a lot and has been all evening. we have gotten a lot more snow. I dont' even know how much. But it doesnt' seem to be very windy at all. I'm hoping it stays this way. I'm fine with getting stuck in the house for the next few days. I just dont' want to lose power.
Re: ***Sat. Snow watch****
Haha! You are too funny

Stay safe and warm everyone!
Cloudy and cold in Shoreline, but no snow yet (3:00)
I'm pissed at my neighbor who has stinky smoke coming out of all 3 of his chimneys. I know he's burning garbage. Jerk.?

5pm - Lacey. It's been snowing since noon today. Tiny little flakes since then. Maybe 1 inch so far, not as bad as I thought.
DH's office party was canceled, and we canceled out plans to have SIL watch DD tonight, since we didn't want to get stuck here and DD in Puyallup.

6:37 Puyallup, snowing since 3ish and cold. Luckily no wind yet.
I am sitting at home waiting for DH to get off work and hoping DD doesn't decide to make an appearance tonight...
What storm??
I mean, we are getting lots of snow, but NO wind whatsoever.
In puyallup.
