  I've considered getting one but I knew I'd become obsessed with it and panic if I couldn't find the heartbeat! I laughed when I read your post because I actually did think it was a little nutty for someone I used to work with (a while back before my struggles) when she said she bought a Doppler and used it multiple times a day. I don't judge anymore... Enjoy your new toy!!

  We have a Doppler too but have yet to find a good, reliable HB. LO is just a wiggle worm

  I was looking on Craigslist awhile ago for one but didn't come across any good deals so I have up my search LOL have fun though!!!

  My husband gave me a very stern "NO" when I sent him the groupon deal for a doppler.  He said I'm already to high strung, it would just make me worse.

  I caved too and bought one online! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm 9 weeks 4 days and haven't been able to find the heartbeat. I started trying last week just for fun. I just had an ultrasound on Monday and everything was great so I'm not worried. Let me know if you're able to find your baby's heartbeat...maybe you'll figure out a good technique. I also know that it's still early to find a consistent heartbeat, so I'm being patient. 

  DX: Ovulatory Disorder/ Anovulation (possible PCOS)

  Good luck and have fun with it. I'd really be cautious about using it this early on twins though because it will not be easy to get them both. Only you know how you'd react to that, but I know it would push me over the edge. Plus I saw at my 10w scan that they like to hide one in front of the other- no way could anyone have gotten both of them short of an ultrasound!

  Best thing in the world. Hubby told me not to get it because it would freak me out if I couldnt find the heartbeat but i couldnt resist. Im so glad I bought it. I went on youtube and found a bunch of videos on how to use it which were extremely helpful since sometimes the heartbeat has been hard to find. The videos helped ease the nerves and gave great advice.

  10 weeks tomorrow and haven't found a heartbeat yet, but I'm not worried b/c I know they are snuggled in nice and tight!

  Me:35,  DH: 39   

  TTC since March 2011. All bloodword, SA & HSG are normal.  

  8/12: Clomid & TI - BFN 

  10/12: Colmid & TI - BFN 

  3/13:  Clomid, Trigger & IUI - BFN 

  4/13: Gonal F, Trigger & IUI: BFN  

  6/13: IVF #1 (1AA blast & 1BB blast) = BFN 

  8/13: FET #1= BFN
