Child care reviews...

Hi all,

I'm new to this board... we are expecting our first baby July '09 and we are starting to think about child care... I have no idea how or where to read reviews about local child care centers/private home/nannies. We are looking for child care in either Edina or Minnetonka... if anyone has reviews for child care in those locations or advice to where we can start researching - that would be so helpful!     I would try "Child Care Resource and Referral", I think the phone number is different depending which county you are in. You can probably google it.

    I would find a list of providers that are near you. Call them and see if they have openings and then take a visit or two or three. I think your gut reaction is more important than what someone else thinks.

    Check around with friends. And make sure to ask for several references.
