Do you tell yours what to wear? And do you buy all his clothes?

I have to tell my H to wear xyz anytime his outfit is not his uniform. It's super annoying now. I created a monster. I also buy anything he owns. Sometimes I wonder what his true taste would be if I didn't intervene. But then, I'm kind of a control freak and I'm sure his outfit choices would drive me crazy.

The only thing he is picky about is if the shirt is too fitted or if the color isn't plain. He will not wear any other color than black, grey, blue, green, brown.

For special occasions and holidays, yes I dress him as if he was a paper doll. Everyday life he can dress himself....most of the time. He hates shopping so I have to buy all his stuff too.

I buy most of his clothes and usually tell him what to wear when we are going out or to some event. Everyday work and home clothes he picks himself. Sometime he will go and buy some random clothes on his own.

He cares about looking good and can pick his own clothes but usually gets my opinion before buying anything. Although sometimes I still have to ask "are you seriously wearing that?" when we're going out. He prefers comfort over style. He's picky about what he wears too, it can't be too tight because he's self conscious about his body.

DH wears a uniform or t-shirt and gym shorts 90% of the time. Outside of his uniform, I buy all of the clothes. He has no interest in that stuff and will wear the same stained ratty tee forever!

When shopping, he picks stuff out, then I give the yay or nay. He picks out what he wears, but sometimes asks if we are going out to something special.

Occasionally I will ask H to wear a certain style or item of clothing. Particularly for more formal events, as his most typical "uniform" is jeans and a tshirt.

Occasionally he will ask the same of me ie to wear a certain dress.

I don't buy all his clothes. My sister, my parents and at least one other female friend of his have bought him clothes at various times. He also sometimes buys his own clothes.

Funnily enough he has bought 90% of what I wear for work (shoes and dresses anyway). And I get way more compliments on his choices than I do on my choices... It seems he knows female fashion better than me.

Oh lord, my husband is terrible with dressing himself. He still dresses like he's in the Army, like seriously still wears BDU pants and his army shirts. If we are heading somewhere where he needs to be dressed like real person and not a G.I.Joe doll then I lay out his clothes for him.
I also buy all his "other" clothes, I dont think he's ever clothes shopped for himself other than hunting gear. Even when we've gone together he's just grabbed the first thing that fits and he's done with that. He's seriously clothing impaired.

This is kind of TheBoy too. He has a few pieces I've bought, but we have really different tastes, so that doesn't work so much. And I hate it, but in general I don't like his style. His dress wardobe is fine and his cold weather wardrobe is great (TheBoy is super sexy in sweaters), so I just look forward to that 2 months of the year. Casual clothes are a wreck and he fundamentally disagrees with the concept of business casual or nice casual.

I started shopping for DH a week after we met. (per his request). I shop for him now. I also have to pick out his clothes now, which drives me insane.
