We went to a restaurant and ds got weirdly upset at the lady seated behind him, so dh took him out to the waiting area to calm down. And I got a glorious 10 minutes all to myself. Even got to eat an extra roll because ds would have demanded some if he had seen me.
Dropped everything at a kids consignment sale this week! I had never realized how much space stuff from one child took up and I am glad to be rid of it!
I love this too. I appreciated the luxury we sometimes enjoy of being able to focus on DS and it was nice to start to him notice this week. He has friends was younger siblings and understandable they sometimes miss out on partipating in extra curricular activities and tournaments. So DS expressed his appeciation that we can take him to all of his activities....nice to hear!
Thought of another one. I was travelling for work and DH had a sporting event and we were abke to trade off on my way home from the airport so he did not miss out....so maybe a highlight of the week for him, but regardless would not have been as feasible with two or more!
I could not imagine the incessant whining with more than 1. This week was a nightmare, and I think if it was multiplied by 2 or more I'd be drinking myself into oblivion.
DS was super whiny this week. I don't know what it is but I'm thankful that we only have one.
Same here! DS transitioned to the 2 year old room at daycare this week, so I've been blaming it on the big change. But man, the WHINING!
My favorite moment was 2 date nights this week. No way would the parents and in laws agree to that with more than 1. I know without a doubt that my marriage will be a happier marriage with 1.
I was fitted for Invisalign this week. I've always hated my crooked teeth. We just paid off the car and will have a little extra money. Dh told me to go get them because he knows how self conscious I am about my front teeth. I am super excited to get them fixed. I'm also somewhat looking forward to the Invisalign diet. I didn't realize how much I really graze and snack until I paid attention to the fact I won't be able to in a few weeks.

A Crossover sized SUV is plenty big enough for our family of three. If we had another child, a full size SUV would be "required". So this means, we saved thousands of dollars on getting this size SUV, great on gas mileage too, and super cute ;-)
We had DS's 3rd bday party on Saturday. We spent a fortune on food, decorations, gifts and booze. It was awesome. I can't afford that shit twice a year.
Re: Favorite OAD Moment of the Week?
Made more food for L this week. He's eating so much more now that we have dropped day bottles. Can't imagine cooking for two hungry monsters!
