Tell me if the snoogle is worth it

With my last pregnancy, I scoffed at the snoogle, thinking "why spend the money on a giant body pillow when I have great mattress and a good pillow to put between my knees?" But I'm quickly discovering that I got away without having one because I wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I am this time around; I'm now seriously contemplating a snoogle, but I still need some convincing. (I also hatr spending money on myself and will kick myself repeatedly if I don't feel like a purchase was 100% necessity.)

So let's hear it ladies. Is the snoogle really worth it? Does it genuinely help you? Tell me how! Help me justify coughing up the dough for this gigantic body pillow.

I have the double snoogle thing...can't remember name, same brand...like the snoogle but has two sides so no adjusting when you turn over. Would link but hard to mobile. I LOVE IT!! was having major sleeping issues and now feel so much better. Super pricey, bit worth a good nights sleep.

Yes, it definitely helps. I am SO uncomfortable lately because of some intense RLP at night and my Snoogle helps tremendously. Does it take away all the problems? No, it's not cake or anything

but it was a great purchase. It is bulky which can be annoying, but if you want relief from pain or being uncomfortable I would recommend it!

I really am pleased with mine. We have a Sleep Number bed, but just a pillow between my knees wasn't cutting it. With the Snoogle, my head, knees, and ankles all have the same size "fluff" between them, so I'm not wrenching my back any more. My sis has the Babies R Us brand Snoogle, which was a little cheaper, but she swears by hers as well. She is the one who advised me to get one, because she had so much success with hers. I agree that the snoogle was a very good purchase for me. I didn't get a body pillow or anything the first time around, but I'm sleeping so much better this time. My husband sort of feels like he's being replaced though. Which, for snoogling he is I guess

I have one and love it. My husband hates it but it truly helps alleviate the pain that I feel on the outside of my hips of I lay on my side with nothing in between my knees.

So happy my mom got me one! I was up 6 times a night peeing I think bc I was so uncomfortable. Last night I slept through the entire night. 100% worth it!!!

I must be alone here, but I never loved my snoogle! I sold it. Most nights I would end up getting super annoyed with it and it made it hard for me to roll over! I bought a few wedge pillows, and found them much less cumbersome!

I honestly don't love mine. It works great for any hip relief but I wake up a lot with it. I'm a dedicated tummy sleeper so that may be part of my problem.

I have found the Snoogle to make a big difference. I was having a lot of back and hip soreness before I got the Snoogle and it is much better now. It can be a bit cumbersome when trying to roll over, but I still think it's worth it.

I was disappointed with mine. I'd suggest spending the money on some nice king sized pillows instead.

I love mine and think it was totally worth it. I also got mine on amazon with free shipping. Turning over is so much easier than it was when I was using like 4 regular pillows all around me. I also love that it totally supports my back and neck as well as belly and hips.

ive had a body pillow (SO bought from Kohls) and it worked great up until recently, where im finding now I need some more back and stomach support. Would you say its good for stomach support too?

I hate mine. The top part where your head/shoulders go really bothers my shoulders bc the fabric gets tight and digs into my skin.

Yes! This is annoying, but it's the only problem I've had so far. I still think it's worth it. Nice to know someone else has this problem and I'm not just crazy

As far as belly support- I don't really have a huge bump yet, but I found myself needing belly support last night and it worked like a charm.

I got a Snoogle ripoff from Walmart and it has made a major difference for me. I've had a lot of sacroiliac back pain and keeping my hips aligned has been really important. I have the snoogle and I hate it. It just lays on my bedroom floor! It's so uncomfortable feeling and too difficult to move around when I'm sleeping. Plus, all the pillowcases are scratchy. I even bought a second jersey knit one online because I couldn't stand the one that came with it. You're better off with a regular body pillow or just an assortment of other pillows in my opinion.

DH bought me one as an early Christmas gift, and it has definitely helped me to be more comfortable side sleeping. I won't say it's the most amazing thing ever, but I do like how versatile it is and the many ways I can contort it to my various needs/wants

I don't have one...but wanted to add that I recently saw snoogles at my Burlington coat factory store, by the cribs. If memory serves me right, they were $39.99. also, I know at my store they have a deal where if you donate winter coats you get a coupon for 10% off your entire purchase. Ive actually gotten cute maternity clothes there too!

It's totally worth it. I've had mine for a few months now and I've never had a better nights sleep. It's like sleeping in a hug for the entire night! I would buy it time and time again

Same here. Returned the snoogle and bought the boppy cuddle pillow. Love it!

I feel like my snoogle was a total waste of money

I've always used a body pillow to sleep with, and no matter how many nights I start out trying to use my snoogle, it always ends up on the floor and my body pillow back on the bed. Its just not comfortable - I think mainly because if I lay with it behind me, there's nowhere to put my arm as opposed to my body pillow where I can lay my arm on top.

Same with me. I also seem to keep waking up with my ear folded and it really hurts. My dog has been enjoying it though.

My snoogle helps me get into a comfortable position where I don't feel as much pressure on my lower back when sleeping. My only complaint is it's a pain getting out of bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and then having to re-adjust and find that perfect position again without disturbing your DH/SO.

I love my Snoogle. Without it I think I would be ditching DH for half the night in favor of the couch more often. I am just that uncomfortable in bed without it. Strictly sleeping on my left side sucks.
