Hi girls, I'm new to the board.
I had a MM that was found on my first US on 9/27. Baby measured 7 weeks I was suppose to be 8 weeks. Did three rounds of cytotec before everything came out. It was horrible and had really bad cramps after cramps for about a week. So now finally I got my period on Sunday. It's so heavy. I'm having to change pad every hour not even worth wearing a tampon. How long is this heavy bleeding suppose to last??
I'm worried I may become anemic I've always been borderline anemic and had it at normal levels when we were TTC last time. After the MM my anemia was worse than ever.
I just want this bleeding to end. How long did the first period after miscarriage last for you guys??
On the positive side we can start TTC again after my period

I'm so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board.
Mine lasted 8 days. I would also suggest calling your doctor about the heaviness of yours, especially if you have a history of anemia.

My first period is right now - I used to have light periods. This one is definitely heavier (but nothing like yours - however it's all relative). I think you should call your doctor to double check.
BFP #1: EDD 05/27/2014 (D&C 10/17/2014)
Mine lasted 3.5 days VERY heavy w terrible clotting and very very faint spotting for 2-3 more days.
