Recommendations for stroller for almost 1 year old twins and a 2 year old

I am looking for stroller to accommodate all 3 kids. This past year we have been more survival home body mode. I am hoping to get out more. Please recommend your stroller that would make getting out easier

Re: Recommendations for stroller for almost 1 year old twins and a 2 year old

  • My 2 yo generally walks, so I don't plan on getting a stroller to fit everyone.  For neighborhood walks or if we go to a zoo or something, we have a SBS jogger.  There is room on the very front for him to hitch a ride if he so desires (yes, I know it's probably not the safest thing), or I can wear a baby and he can ride more properly in the seat.  He likes to run around more than sit in the stroller.  If there are two of us, then we'll take the tandem stroller for the girls, and an umbrella stroller we just stash under the other stroller if he decides he wants to ride.  I just can't justify a triple stroller for a kid who prefers to walk.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

    I have newborn twins and a two-year-old.
  • many recommended to me the boogie board set up.
If your two year old is not mature enough to stay on a board, and you drive a large vehicle (mini-van or bigger).. consider the Joovy Big Caboose.
It's big, but it will accommodate twins (comes with 2 semi-universal carrier adapters) and has a sit/stand platform on the back. I found one on CL for $150 and it barely fits in my toyota sienna trunk. My girls are total daredevils, so I needed something with 3 sets of seatbelts to keep someone from running out in front of a car. Joovy also sells a converter seat for the sit/stand platform that would make it a forward facing seat with a 5 pt harness belt.
This is not a stroller for jogging or all-terrain. It's great for dr appointments, zoos ( if no big hills to climb) and smooth, paved areas.
Side by side to my Graco Quattro Duo, it's maybe 2 inches longer but it's a tighter fit in the trunk.

This, but get the Englacha Junior X-rider for it instead of just a standard glider board.  I have five month old twins and a 2.5 year old and it is imperative that I be able to strap his ass down sometimes, haha.  The whole stroller setup is pretty marvelous, even if it does feel a bit like you're driving a bus.
