Toddler losing weight

My 21 month old has had a pretty decreased appetite for a month.  She's always been a very small baby (5%) and a fairly picky eater, but lately it's to the extreme.  I took her to the ped last week because I was concerned--she had gained 7 oz in 2 months.  I took her back in yesterday (in addition to not eating she is very fussy and sleeping an abnormal amount) and she lost a full pound in 4 days.  She did have a 24 stomach bug last week but it wasn't anything crazy--just one watery diaper for a few days.  We did a blood panel and everything is normal so far (still waiting for the remainder of the results).  We have a weight check tomorrow and the ped said if she loses more she'll be admitted to the hospital for observation.  Has anyone gone through something like this?

    9/10 and 1/11 Normal blood work
    2/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
    4/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
    5/11 100 mg Clomid = BFN
    6/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
    7/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
    SA normal and HSG all clear
    11/11 14 HMG shots with HCG trigger = BFN
    12/11 Femara + HMG = BFP!!

    My neighbors' son did not gain any weight or height from the time he was one until now (he is 2). He is developing fine. Unless there are other health issues, that may not be a problem in itself, even though I would be worried too!
