Surgery & vent!

For the past 5 months I have had gallbladder attacks! I found out I have about 150 small gallstones, and the more time that passes then worse they get! I finally got the ball rolling to have it removed before the end of the year since my deductible is already met! So I had surgery this morning, I found out today I can't lift my son for TWO WEEKS! How do they not tell my that before the surgery????? ( I can't believe I didnt ask!) Ds is so sick right now, and all he wants is me! I feel so bad for him! This sucks so bad! Its going to be a long two weeks!

I agree. Can you sit and have DS handed to you so you can snuggle him?

I'm sorry he's sick and you feel like you can't even help him. I agree with your H handing him to you for snuggles. I hope y'all both feel better soon!

I know how much it sucks. Believe me, I understand. It will go by quickly and you'll be holding your LO before you know it. And think of how much happier you'll be without those painful attacks.
